Le Pr Stéphane SUPIOT est un radiothérapeute spécialisé en oncologie, exerçant à l’Institut de Cancérologie de l’Ouest à Nantes. Il occupe actuellement le poste de professeur titulaire en radiothérapie oncologique à l’Université de Nantes.

Le Pr Stéphane SUPIOT est spécialisé dans le traitement du cancer de la prostate. Il possède une formation complète en biologie des radiations, en radiothérapie et en oncologie médicale. Ses recherches se concentrent principalement sur les modificateurs de la réponse hypoxique dans les modèles de cancer de la prostate. Il cherche à améliorer l’efficacité de la radiothérapie avec de nouvelles thérapies pour le cancer de la prostate.

Le Pr Stéphane SUPIOT a reçu plusieurs prix, dont le prix de mérite de l’American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), le prix Varian-Juliana Denekamp décerné par l’European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), ainsi que le prix SFRO-Aleksander Savchuk, décerné par la Société Française de Radiothérapie Oncologique (SFRO).

Le Pr Stéphane SUPIOT a publié plusieurs articles de premier plan dans des revues internationales à comité de lecture telles que “Radiotherapy and Oncology” et “Cancer Letters”. Ses travaux ont notamment porté sur la radiothérapie oncologique dans le traitement du cancer de la prostate et sur la compréhension de la réponse tumorale à la radiothérapie.
